Superfood Chocolate Crispy Treats



These Superfood Chocolate Crispy Treats are a delightful combination of crunchy rice cereal, creamy almond butter, rich cacao powder, and nutritious superfood seeds, sweetened with maple syrup and adorned with vegan chocolate chips. They are gluten-free, vegan, and free from refined sugars, making them a guilt-free indulgence for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups gluten-free crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mixed superfood seeds chia seeds, flaxseeds, hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions:

Put the crispy rice cereal and mixed superfood seeds in a large bowl and mix them together

Add the cacao powder, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and almond butter to a small saucepan

Set the heat to low and melt the mixture until it is smooth and well mixed

Pour the chocolate mixture that has been melted over the rice cereal mixture and mix it in so that it is all covered

Smooth the mixture out in a square baking dish that has been lined with parchment paper

On top, sprinkle vegan chocolate chips, and then gently press them into the mix

Put in the fridge for at least an hour, or until it gets firm

Cut it into squares and serve once it's firm

Put any leftovers in a container that won't let air in and put it in the fridge
