- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder for thickening
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish optional
Instructions:
Mix honey, coconut aminos, chicken broth, minced ginger and garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using in a bowl
After putting the chicken breasts in the crock pot, cover them with the honey garlic sauce
Cook the chicken for 45 hours on low, covered, or until it's tender and cooked through
Using two forks, shred the chicken after taking it out of the crock pot
Put aside
Make a slurry out of the arrowroot powder and two tablespoons of water in a small bowl
Stir thoroughly after adding the arrowroot slurry to the sauce in the crock pot
Cook until the sauce thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes on high
Pour the thickened sauce over the shredded chicken by returning it to the crock pot and stirring
If preferred, garnish the Paleo Crock Pot Honey Garlic Chicken with sliced green onions and sesame seeds
Have fun!
